Join us for the first collaboration between Brecks Vineyard and Jim Gore of Global Wine Academy – a relaxed, interactive evening exploring the wonderful world of flavour and wine pairing.

This introductory tasting is all about discovering why certain foods and wines work so well together. Guided by wine expert Jim Gore, you’ll taste a selection of wines alongside different food elements and explore how acidity, salt, fat, sweetness and even chilli can completely change the way a wine tastes. Our Brecks Bacchus will be tasted against three other international wines.

There’s no need to be a wine expert – this is designed to be fun, sociable and informative, giving you some simple tips and tricks you can actually use the next time you’re choosing a bottle for dinner.

And the evening doesn’t have to end when the tasting does…

After the tasting finishes stay with us in the Brecks Vineyard courtyard. Grazing Boards and Tapas Dishes are available to purchase from 7.30pm and the bar will be open for you to settle in, order another glass and put those new tasting skills to the test.
